Eddy Waters History

Hodgson Mill, Ozark County Canoe and Kayak Store

Eddy Waters has an extensive history.  In the late 90s, the Paddleshop Ozark County Canoe and Kayak was started, eventually evolving to Ozark River Company.  It was located in four locations over the next decade across the Ozarks.  The striving goal was to be near water.

Rivers, lakes, the Ozarks is rich in recreational boating opportunities. The boat store had reluctantly closed in 2009, due to hard economic times.

The memories of the 2000s when roto-mold boats were the new thing are still alive. Companies and Brands like Dagger, Perception, Old Town, Necky, Ocean Kayak were carried during this fun tough roto-mold plastic kayak discovery time.

Eddy Waters was already in his full glory, with hundreds of shirts created and sold from the store showrooms. Now, many of these first shirt designs and drawings are from the original artwork.

Now:

Fast forward to today, Eddy Waters is back!  After nearly 12 years, we once again are producing Eddy Waters apparel. This time Eddy Waters Tees are made under his own name. He has his friend Hydraulica by his side.  Hydraulica is also original artwork from years past, and that was her original name. We are keeping with history. The love and nostalgia is there for many whom remember the stores.

We hope for a future of Eddy and Hydraulica doing different sports, with new designs, all the same characters and art style that keeps him simple and lovable.
